IACCM Innovation Awards 2012 Recognizing outstanding leadership & innovation in commercial contracting

IACCM is delighted to announce the winners of its inaugural awards for innovation in contracting and commercial management. In a worldwide contest, organizations large and small competed for recognition from a cross-industry, international panel of judges.

'In today's fast-moving markets, technical innovation is no longer enough. To compete and win, organizations must demonstrate an ability to be flexible and responsive to market needs, to ensure superior capabilities in making and meeting commitments,' explained Tim Cummins, CEO of the International Association for Contract & Commercial Management (IACCM). 'These characteristics demand innovative approaches to commercial management. They require the groups charged with contract management responsibility - legal, commercial, procurement - to shed their image of slow, risk-averse and focused on compliance and to become champions of change.'

The inaugural awards program attracted 50 entries and they came from organizations large and small, public and private, including many from the world's top brands. They confirmed that the spirit of enterprise is alive and well within the legal, procurement and contract management community and provide an inspiration to others.

IACCM's Innovation Awards program recognizes leaders in our community - individuals and teams who are raising the profile of contract and commercial capability within their organizations.
