Benchmarking is fundamental to professional standards â€' and the ability to gain budget and investment. Without comparative data, we do not know how well we are performing and we are often powerless to resist cut-backs. That is why so many of the leaders in our community join the IACCM studies of organization, process, roles and measurements. The 2005 study is now available for completion at www.iaccm.com/benchmarking.
Participants in this study gain valuable insights and confirmation of their standing relative to other groups and their industry peers. The study is international and allows segmented comparisons based on company size and functional role. It is therefore relevant to groups from sales contracting, commercial management, procurement / sourcing and contract management. This year, the range of performance measurements included in the study has increased. Building on our past ability to compare structure, reporting and role trends, we are now driving to greater understanding of relative performance and value-add. From this, we expect to equip our members with compelling insights to ‘best practice’ and the impact of automation, skill and resource variations, reporting lines and other key variables.
The core report is made available to all participants; Corporate Members receive a more advanced output and there are also options to request custom reports. All inputs remain confidential and IACCM is willing to sign non-disclosure agreements.
