Contract Simplification

 

Since its spin-off from Hewlett-Packard almost 10 years ago, Agilent Technologies has faced tough competition and demanding market conditions. This created a need to streamline and simplify contracts and associated commercial processes. While it was important to reduce costs, the business also sought to raise competitiveness by cutting cycle times and empowering Agilent employees. These efforts were not restricted to the contracts and terms and conditions, but also required redefinition of roles, organization and measurements.

In this Ask The Expert call, Agilent's Director of Contracts and Branding, Dave Barton, will discuss how these changes were achieved, the results they have generated, and what further improvements are in plan. Dave is also a member of the IACCM Board of Directors.
