What's a Reputation Worth?

To Members of the IACCM Risk Management Community of Interest - Thought I'd share this article from CFO.com. This is a very interesting topic and maybe one the COI might want to explore through a working group. I would be curious to learn how corporate risk management has evolved to handle reputation risk in today's multi-media, 24/7, coverage to the masses world. As the article points out, a company can mitigate the reputational damage by reacting promptly. But how prompt is prompt enough? Do our contracting practices properly address this type of risk?
