Our Experts: Soren Molby Henriksen, Adrian Furner
Søren Mølby Henriksen CEO & Founder Provations, is an ambitious, results-driven professional with focuses on strategy, procurement, innovation, sales and a background in relationship management and banking. Senior Relationship Manager for 7 years and Head of IT Procurement for 6 years with Nordea, with proven managerial skills and results in a continuously changing environment.
Most recently served 6 years with Danske Bank. During this period, realized yearly savings of up to EUR 100 million. In both organizations led and contributed to Group Procurement transforming into a highly professional team.
Used procurement innovation to create top line growth for Danske Bank and improved customer experiences for Danske Bank clients, and transformed the Danske Bank procurement practice into a more customer-centric and commercial-oriented team. Applied experience selling, networking, fostering innovation, and transforming procurement with a focus on the customer and a commercial mindset.
Adrian Furner specializes in complex commercial transaction structuring & implementation, supply-chain management, procurement, change management and technology acquisition.
Adrian has over 25 years’ experience in the area of complex commercial transactions through novel business models. He has worked in a variety of sectors including defence and security, aviation, technology and is Founding Partner of Kommercialize which is focused on the architecting of new and novel business models.
Prior to founding Kommercialize, Adrian was Commercial Director for BAE Systems Strategic Capability Solutions (SCS), leading the commercial, procurement, supply chain and business management teams, where he was instrumental in creating BAE Systems’ approach to open innovation. Adrian has established commercial models and developed relationships to deliver maximum returns for all participants.
During his career with BAES he was also involved in: multiple large fully financed naval reactivation programmes; major collaborative PFI bid teams; developing a relationships with BBC investigating the opportunities to exploit e-learning opportunities in the defence marketplace. Adrian also spent nine years involved in managing a fleet of over 500 commercial aircraft for BAE.
Adrian is a member of both the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), and the IACCM where he is a former board member and an honorary fellow. He has a BEng from the University of Nottingham, and has also completed the London Business School Corporate Finance Programme along with executive education programmes at both Wharton Business School and Oxford Saïd Business School.
