09:00-9:15        IACCM 2019 Update by Bruce Everett

09:15-10:00      Commercial Awareness in the Contract Management Lifecycle.

As at February 2019, over 6.8m people on LinkedIn identify themselves in a ‘Contract Manager’ role. In IACCM, we identify as Contract Managers AND Commercial Managers, with Commercial Management informing and implementing business strategy and policies and with Contract Management supporting Commercial Management through the implementation and oversight of legally enforceable performance commitments (both outbound and inbound from the market). So what is Commercial Management nowadays and how do we (and the many millions of other people who are part of the contract management lifecycle) become more commercially aware. This interactive session will explore what it means to, not only demonstrate commercial awareness and business acumen, but also to use this to identify and drive value in our organisations.
