Professor Oranburg’s webinar on “Successfully Hosting and Participating in Online Meetings” is a beginner’s tutorial for topics including using the chat function, navigating gallery view, muting and unmuting participants, advanced screen sharing, and preventing “Zoom bombers” from disrupting a corporate function. Professor Oranburg also discusses online decorum for participants, including how and when to speak.

Professor Seth C. Oranburg is a law professor and certified online educator. He developed Corporations Online courses at Duquesne University School of Law and is presently authoring a digital-first casebook for Contracts Online. Professor Oranburg has cultivated a YouTube channel since 2014 and now has over one hundred educational videos online. Professor Oranburg also authored several articles on online pedagogy.
After graduating with honours from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar, he practised antitrust law at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in Washington, DC, and he counselled clients on new-venture finance and mergers & acquisitions at Fenwick & West LLP in Silicon Valley. Professor Oranburg is an active member of the State Bar of California and the Bar of the District of Columbia. He joined the academy in 2014.
