Jim Hussey, Author, The SAM Leader Survival Guide.
Jim Hussey was the leader of a Fortune 500 technology vendor management organization and was accountable for software asset management. After successfully implementing a robust SAM discovery capability, combined with a global team of SAM analyst, Jim began a detailed study of the software asset management community.
In addition to authoring The SAM Leader Survival Guide, Jim is active in developing SAM market-specific research to provide SAM professionals with independent data to refine their SAM operations. The current focus of which is the emergence of Cloud Asset Management (CAM) and the role SAM professionals need to play to achieve true cloud optimization. Jim is a frequent speaker and blogger on the subject of SAM professional development and leader of NPI’s SAM advisory and audit defence practice.
