The IACCM Automation and Emerging Technologies Network

The purpose of the Automation and Emerging Technologies Network is to provide its members with insights to new technology trends and emerging practices in the fields of contract, commercial and relationship management.

The objectives will be met by sharing ideas, discussing challenges, exploring new tools and technology related to contract, commercial and relationship management.

Meetings will be virtual (by phone or webinar) unless in specific cases there is an agreed wish to have physical meetings or workshops to develop specific initiatives.

Joint Ventures

Hi Would anyone be happy to have a discussion with me, or give me some pointers on managing a JV where you are both a customer, supplier and a shareholder? It would be good to understand how other companies navigate this tricky relationship and if there is any IACCM best practice I should adhere too? I have different contract managers who are responsible for the customer and supplier side to eliminate any conflict of interest, but the whole governance is so much more complex than a straight commercial arrangement. Advice on Software to compare PDFs- Scanned PDFs?

Hi All We have increasingly becoming more and more in need of a tool to help us compare PDFs documents: Word created versus Scanned. I am aware that the scanned documents are pictures that, in the best case scenario, require an OCR to being processed. Which means the OCR function needs to be robust, since most don't really work that well. Open to suggestions and experiences if you can share! Thanks in advance!

Digital Contracts

Please does any one have experience of having contracts prepared electronically and executed electronically? The parties do not receive any hard copies after execution. Only soft copies are sent round. We are planning to implement this to reduce request for storage space and time spent in reviewing hard copy materials. Will appreciate comments.
