'Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills.'

About this course: We all negotiate on a daily basis. On a personal level, we negotiate with friends, family, landlords, car sellers and employers, among others. Negotiation is also the key to business success. No business can survive without profitable contracts. Within a company, negotiation skills can lead to your career advancement.

George has received many messages from learners taking the course who want to use course materials to provide negotiation training within their organizations.  In response to these requests, he has developed a package that includes (1) a Teaching Note, (2) two roles, and (3) slides. Here is a link to the package:

These materials are based on a negotiation exercise from the course that illustrates the key concepts that negotiators should understand for business and personal success.  Universities and publishers typically charge $3.00 or $4.00 per student for use of negotiation roles.  To encourage the development of negotiation skills, George is providing them to IACCM members and others free of charge. 

There is an old saying that the best way to learn is to teach.  It is hoped that teaching this exercise will increase your understanding of negotiation in addition to helping others within your organization develop their negotiation skills.
