The purpose of this Network is to provide its members with insights to new trends and emerging practices in the fields of contract, commercial and relationship management. While these will be in the context of the Technology sector, they will draw from knowledge and ideas that are current and relevant in other sectors. A key goal is to improve the performance of contracts and relationships in the sector.
The objectives will be met by sharing ideas, discussing challenges, exploring new directions and, where appropriate, initiating research or inviting experts to present on key topics in the sector related to contract, commercial and relationship management.
Meetings will be virtual (by phone or webinar) unless in specific cases there is an agreed wish to have physical meetings or workshops to develop specific initiatives.
Group Mission/Vision:
Provide its members with insights to new trends and emerging practices in the fields of contracting, commercial and relationship management in the sector.
Our podcast explores some interim findings from this year's Most Negotiated Terms survey, which illustrate the topsy-turvy nature of the current business environment. Increased levels of disagreement, yet a trend towards greater harmony; continued focus on risk consequence, but supplemented by terms that better anticipate and manage uncertainty.
A core component of the IACCM online certification programs is a message board feature, enabling the learners to share ideas, challenges, and reflect on their individual experiences as related to the subject matter in the learning modules. The Trending Commercial Discussion Report contains IACCM's qualitative analysis of these contributions and segments the main themes by region and industry.
COVID-19 is prompting numerous changes in society, the economy, and commercial relationships. Many are changes that would have occurred anyway, but the pandemic is generating a new sense of urgency. Examples range from the massive debates over racism and equality, to a rethink of economic management, the discussions over working from home and the need for increased collaboration in trading relationships.
No one wants to go back! Well, that is a slight exaggeration. A recent IACCM poll reveals that 1% of respondents hope for a future where they work exclusively from an office and 12% would prefer 'mainly office'. But that compares with 63% who want to work mainly or entirely from home and 24% who would like a 50/50 balance.

Hi. I need to provide a commercial strategy for a data center exit. It involves hundreds of contacts and about 40 vendors. Does anyone have any experience in this to let me know the best way to present the information in an easy to absorb way? Anyone have a template/ dashboards/ PowerPoint that they could share as a base?
Anyone with experience from selling and contracting CI/CD developed SW who can share some experience? What are the key contractual differences from traditional release based SW sales?
A provider is offering managed services and to be able to deliver the services, we need to use a workflow tool for approvals, also offered by the same provider. The provider is asking to pay separately for IT set-up and license fees and is asking separate T&C's related to the workflow tool. Is that common practise for managed services?
Hello, has anyone implemented V-Locity Workflow Solution?
Hi Everyone, My team is in the beginning phases of looking at an enterprise CLM solution. Many of the assessment matrices I've been able to find seem too truncated (are outdated) to assess proposed innovative enterprise CLM solution. Does anyone have any guidance/ proposed criteria/ best practices that I could use to supplement what we have now? Thank you!

Does anyone have any insight into the impact of BOTS for SAAS software? I work for an Social Media Mgmt company and based on some analysis, we are starting to see the impact that BOTS have on our platform. We are trying to determine if we need to evaluate our MSA and or our Order Forms.
I would like to know if there is any tools/templates that can be used for contract performance reporting. This reporting of the contract statues, milestones, issues etc would be send to the board. thanks.
What new technology/innovation is being considered or adopted in your organisation to help with monitoring contracts or being used for repetitive tasks?
I have 30 list of suppliers. And I am handling these 30 contracts but due lack of bandwidth I am not able to go through all contracts and extract necessary information from document. Can anyone suggest me what activity I can take up to initiate cost reduction for suppliers contracts ?
