Outsourcing guide of dos and don'ts for commercial contractors

Why outsource? The clear answer for most companies is cost. They do not want to assume the burden of employing staff, with all its implications of overhead, inflexibility and staff management.

But organizations that focus too strongly on cost are likely to encounter failure. While they may be able to compete on price, they will often fail on delivery. And, as a recent Conference Board survey highlighted, "Excellence in execution is taking precedence for CEOs".
