Trends in Payment Terms; An IACCM survey report

In recent years, many buyers have pushed to extend the payment period for supplier invoices. In some jurisdictions, this has led to legislation limiting the number of days within which payment must be made. There is also growing awareness on the part of buyers that lengthy or unreliable payment practices damage supplier relationships and stand in the way of being viewed as 'a customer of choice'.
