The Oil and Gas Learning Program is a training curriculum designed to rapidly educate both new and experienced practitioners in the oil and gas sector to international contracting best practices.
This Program is supplementary to the Contract & Commercial Management Program. This Program does not provide an IACCM certification.
IACCM recommends that practitioners become certified in the Contract & Commercial Management Program first, before joining the Oil and Gas Learning Program, as a level of knowledge of contract and commercial management best practice is assumed. However, this is not mandatory.
Designed specifically for the non-contracts business professional, the Fundamentals Program focuses on delivering contemporary best practice information that will equip you to participate effectively in the contract process - in a way that you will find interesting and immediately useful in your personal and professional life.
The Fundamentals Program is a 7 hour on-line training course, accompanied by a practical, readable supporting text (7 hour reading), which provides the student basic insights and understanding of contracting principles and the impact they have on both their business and personal life. You will have a 12 month license to access the program.
Successful completion of the program and final examination will earn you IACCM Associate (CCMA) Certification..
IACCM and SMARTnership Negotiation have partnered to offer IACCM members the opportunity to participate in the award-winning SMARTnership Negotiation Online Master Class. IACCM members can complement the negotiation training provided in the IACCM Contract & Commercial Management Certification Program with this new series, providing additional opportunities to hone their practical and analytical skills to structure and foster agreements that add value to their organizations.
This Program is primarily directed to those who are not in the contracting function but need to develop an understanding of the overall contracting process to help drive successful trading relationships for their organization. Examples include employees in product management, delivery, order processing, finance, relationship management, sales, and other related departments within an organization. This Program can also be a primer to those new to contract and commercial management (CCM) and intend to pursue a career or supporting role in the profession.
